MQ360 Retreats – Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy

Payment Terms

MQ360 requires a minimum non-refundable deposit of $500 USD to secure your place at our retreats. You may opt to pay the full amount upon booking. The balance must be paid in full 120 days before your retreat begins.

If the remaining balance is not paid by 120 days before the start date, we will assume you no longer wish to attend, cancel your reservation, and forfeit your deposit. To prevent this, please keep in touch! Contact Michael Quan at [email protected]  to discuss your circumstances, and we will work together to find a solution.

Upon booking with MQ360 Consulting, LLC, you agree to our Terms and Conditions, including our Cancellation Policy. By paying the deposit, you acknowledge your understanding and acceptance of these policies.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to provide a fair cancellation policy:

  • 120 days before the retreat start date: 100% refund less $15 processing fee
  • 90 – 119 days before the retreat start date: 75% refund 
  • 60 – 89 days before the retreat start date: 50% refund 
  • 30 – 59 days before the retreat start date: 25% refund 
  • 29 days or less: No refunds 

MQ360 must receive an email at [email protected] requesting cancellation in order to secure a refund. 

Tickets are transferable, allowing you to pass your spot to someone else if you are unable to attend.  Your transfer request must be sent to [email protected] 48 hours prior to the retreat start date. 

MQ360 can only make an exception to the above  terms if:

  • The Panamanian government forbids us to visit as tourists.
  • The Panamanian government forbids our vendors from hosting us as tourists.
  • The US government forbids us to travel to the host country as tourists.

If MQ360 must cancel the trip for any of the above reasons, all registrants will receive a refund of all deposits paid.

Refunds Cannot Be Made For:

  • Cancellations due to transportation issues (e.g., train or air cancellations).
  • No-shows 
  • Illnesses— purchase of comprehensive travel insurance is required  to safeguard your investment.

We reserve the right to cancel the retreat under exceptional circumstances, such as being unable to deliver the retreat as advertised or not meeting the minimum participant requirement. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and refund the full amount paid for the retreat in USD. We are not liable for any expenses incurred, including travel costs or exchange rate losses.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is required to protect your financial investment and provide coverage for unforeseen circumstances. It typically includes:

  1. Trip Cancellation: Covers the cost of your trip if you need to cancel due to covered reasons, such as illness, injury, or other emergencies.
  2. Trip Interruption: Reimburses you for unused portions of your trip if you need to cut it short due to covered reasons.
  3. Medical Coverage: Covers medical expenses if you get sick or injured during your trip, including emergency medical evacuation.
  4. Baggage Loss or Delay: Provides reimbursement for lost, stolen, or delayed baggage.
  5. Travel Delay: Covers additional expenses incurred due to travel delays, such as accommodation and meals.

Importance of Comprehensive Travel Insurance:

  1. Financial Protection: Protects your investment in case you need to cancel or interrupt your trip unexpectedly.
  2. Medical Coverage: Ensures you have access to medical care and assistance, especially important when traveling abroad where healthcare costs can be high.
  3. Peace of Mind: Offers peace of mind knowing that you are covered for various contingencies, reducing stress during your travel.
  4. Legal and Personal Liability: Provides coverage for legal expenses and personal liability, which can be crucial in certain situations.
  5. Coverage for Various Scenarios: Whether it’s trip cancellation, medical emergencies, or lost baggage, travel insurance provides coverage for a range of situations that could disrupt your travel plans.

For the best protection, make sure your travel insurance policy is comprehensive and covers all potential risks specific to your travel plans and personal circumstances. 

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out

Please inform us in advance if you require early arrival or late departure. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Please notify us of any dietary needs or allergies at the time of booking. This allows us to cater to your requirements effectively.

Medical Conditions

Please notify us in advance of any medical conditions when booking your retreat. This ensures we can accommodate your requirements and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Silence

While not strictly a silent retreat, we encourage a tranquil atmosphere. Please be mindful of noise levels to respect everyone’s retreat experience.

Weather

While we cannot control the weather, indoor activities are available in case of inclement conditions.
